In Bollywood, sequels are quite common. If a movie gets massive success in the Box Office, the directors often come up with a sequel in future, which continues the story development. In the extensions of the parent movies, usually, the lead roles get changed as was seen in the original version. The reasons for the replacements can be multiple. For instance, an actor may get too old to fit into the role; the actor may have dropped out due to personal reasons. In other cases, the director may get changed, and they may prefer another actor, and maybe the studios also wanted a replacement.
While the reasons can be many, it is a common observation to see the actors changed in the sequels of Bollywood films. In some instances, these changes are positive, and the sequels get same or more success than the original ones.
